21st century challenges

As we are living in an era which is called era of challenges and difficulties. The people before us were having fewer problems and ailing issues compared to us. Some of the issues which are considered to be highly devastating are: global warming, terrorism, poverty, ethnicity, Islamophobia, unemployment, and poor living standards. So on and so forth…
Now the question arises here like how one can survive with such impeding factors, how one will overcome all these difficulties and cope with such grave challenges and the answer is quite alarming and difficult to comprehend.
Among all these, I guess global warming is an issue that is certainly unstoppable. The way the population of the earth is increasing at an exponential rate and the way it is depleting the natural resources is absolutely terrible.
As far as global warming is concerned, it is not only the cause of resource depletion nonetheless it has made people vulnerable and unsafe due to natural hazards and calamities. If we talk about the mountainous areas like Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir, the situation is highly catastrophic. The glaciers are melting at a rapid pace, the Ecosystem is disturbed, the temperature of the tropical area is increasing, and floods and avalanches are the causes of crops and live- stocks destruction. So on and so forth…
In addition to this, nowadays inter-caste conflicts are at their peak. Nobody is ready to accept each other’s beliefs and rituals. Everyone considers himself as the perfect human being without taking care of other people's interests, culture, religious dogmas, and value systems. Due to that, there are conflicts and riots all around. Nobody feels safe and secure in any part of the world. Initially, it was an issue in developing countries but nowadays the situation is even worst in developed countries.
Apart from that poverty is an issue that can’t be ignored. The living standard of the common masses is deteriorating day by day. they are deprived of their basic necessities, they are unable to send their children to schools, they can’t fulfill their nutritional needs, they don’t care about their health and other related ailments and they are unable to pamper them properly due to that; illiteracy, unemployment, malnutrition, and health problems are at the dangerous level.
Terrorism is also among the emerging challenges we are facing. Different militant organizations like AL-QAIDA, TALIBAN, LASHKAR-E-TAIBA, JAISH-E-MUHAMMADJ, and ISIS are the real threat to global peace. Due to these militant and religious organizations, there is a misconception and intense hatred against Muslims which is notoriously known as ISLAMOPHOBIA. This is due to these very clashes the west is not ready to accept Muslims and in return, the Muslims are having the same thought about taking them. The output of this clash of belief systems is nonacceptance, hatred, fanaticism, and fundamentalism.
Now the question arises here… how can we play our role in confronting all these challenges by shouldering the responsibilities regardless of caste, region, language, and other social status? Otherwise, very soon these problems can reach the maximum level which can’t be controlled and overcome by any means
